Este texto sirve como una introduccion y guia al rito que se materializa en los reinos godos de Toledo, y luego Oviedo, desde el sexto hasta el decimo siglo - sea llamado gothispano o luego: mozarabe.
En el tratado se rescatan muchos detalles esenciales que a partir de las reformas del siglo XV por el Cardenal Cisneros, se pierden en lo que llega hasta hoy como El Rito Mozarabe.
Intenta ilustrar las peculiaridades primordiales que le distinguen del ahora predominante Rito Romano: desde las formas arquitectonica de los templos, los objetos sagrados, hasta los colores y vestimenta liturgica.
A razon de formarse nuestro rito antes del Gran Cisma, tambien expone puntos fundamentales que tiene en comun con las demas iglesias latinas como tambien las de tradicion griega - y muchas cosas en comun con los ritos africanos y asiaticos tambien.

A practical introduction and guide to the Gothispanic and Early Mozarabic Rite which materialized in the Gothic Kingdoms of Toledo and Oviedo from the sixth through the tenth centuries. This treatise rescues many essential details which have been otherwise left out in the texts and historiography concerning the Mozarabic Rite after the reforms undertaken by the Cardinal Cisneros in the 15th century. It showcases many of the primordial peculiarities which distinguish it from the now predominant Roman Rite: from architectural forms to objects used in the mass, liturgical colours and vesture. Because of its formative years take place before the Great Schism, it also exposes a fundamental link between the Greek and Latin traditions, as well as commonalities with the churches of Africa and Asia.
